Salmon fillets glazed with honey, garlic, and soy sauce and baked until caramelised. Rich in omega-3s, ready in 25 minutes, and naturally free of mammalian products.
What You Need
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or sesame seeds, to garnish
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking dish with foil.
- Whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice.
- Season salmon with salt and pepper and place in the dish skin-side down.
- Pour glaze over salmon, coating evenly.
- Bake 12–15 minutes until salmon flakes easily. Broil the last 2 minutes for a caramelised top.
- Garnish with parsley or sesame seeds and serve immediately.
Tips & Notes
- Coconut aminos is a soy-free, slightly sweeter alternative that works beautifully in this glaze.
- Do not overbake — salmon should still look slightly translucent in the very centre when you pull it out.
